Right i've got 2 250GB Samsung Spinpoints (SATA) connected to an EPoX EP 9NPA+ mobo
my problem is that i can install xp fine it does the 1st bit, thats fine restarts, does the 2nd bit where it ask you to put in name and serial, but then it restarts there and i dont think its meant to, but i left it and it tried to go into windows but it didnt even get to the boot screen. it just stayed on a black screen and then restarted. it wont go into safe mode either. have re-installed 5 times now using 2 different discs, but nothing, i've taken all extra cards out, so just left with gfx (X1900XT) i've tried booting with 1 stick of ram, only 1 hdd connected.
but no matter what i do it wont load properly.
any help?
