Hi all

a friend of mine was having some problems with his pc so he installed XP again, presuming that this would give him a totally fresh install

however now his harddrive is really full and if he searches for music that was on his c before he can still find it and play it so has he now got two installs of xp on his harddrive

and if he has how can he identify them and get rid of one?

thanks

when installing windows, you should remove the current partition on the hard drive and format as ntfs (or quick if you're confident there's no hd errors!)

backup all data first
