Ever since I built this PC a few years back it's been a bit weird.
First I like to use the old classic grey layout but every so often it would reset the tool bar at the bottom of the screen back to blue. I did find a hack for this but even then it has done it 2 or 3 times over the last year so no big issue there.
However the other issue that does annoy me is that when I change the way a folder is displayed it will keep reverting to the default layout.
It may keep the correct layout for a while then forget the settings 5 or 6 times in a row, it may then the remember settings for a week before it forgets them again.
It dosn't effect every folder at the same time either.
I don't think it's a virus as I've tried several demos and online checkers and nothing has shown up.
I've also re-installed xp many times and get the same results.
Anyone got a fix for this other than getting Vista.
Oh I did have a problem with FireFox forgetting my user name and passwords for forums at random intervals aswell but I've just changed to V3 which may have fixed that.
