xp language problem

ok, im installing xp on a new computer for a friend, he has a cd key, but no copy of windows xp. so i downloaded windows xp and used his cd key.

only problem is its in another language, i think its german.

anyway, i can seem to change it, when i go to the language settings and change everything to english, nothing really happens, the time and keyboard input changes, but i cant change the actualy language.

any ideas?

or am i simply just doing it rong?

To change the language of the actual operating system you will need to get a copy of the "WindowsXP Multi-User-Interface Pack" which is only available via Microsoft's MSDN network.
