XP loggin screen?

Hi all,

A few days ago I connected my computer to another, then disconnected again.

Since then when I boot up XP pro, instead of getting the blue screen with users accounts pictures, I get a little box to type in.

I cannot remember how to get this to change back to the blue screen? ANyone able to tell me, my five year old has his own account so it is usefull for him to be able to just click on his picture.

in users account set-up there should be an option for type of login, you have selected classic if i remember correctly, just change the option in there and you should be fine

Apparently I have to uninstall some netware thingy

I did it using Tuneup Utilities but I'm sure there is a regedit you can do?

You could try going to Start\Run and typing 'control userpasswords2', that's what I always use. Or you could try googling the term and it sugests lots of websites with various advice, most of it is listed here: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/win_xp_passwords.htm

Very simple.
