XP - Max RAM

Cool. Thanks for the replies, guys.

So I should be able to get away with 3GB under XP Pro SP2 on my current system them? (see spec in sig).
 
Might by myself another 1GB stick of Geil RAM then ;)

I take it I just put the RAM in the next available slot. But does that have any bearing on the dual channel thing? Always been a bit confused about how dual channel works to be honest. I just put the RAM in, it works & I'm happy :)

So is it worth sticking in another 1GB stick? Will it effect game performance? I'm thinking of going half with a mate on another 2GB of Geil RAM & having a stick each. Not worth me buying the 2GB myself if XP 32-bit can't handle it.
