One of my PC's has an ABIT Abit IP35 with usual Realtek HD audio onboard. It also has an Audigy SB24 live card connected to the input and output of an Ham Radio transciever. The onboard SC is used for the speakers for normal playback of media etc. There are three programmes on the PC used to communicate with the transciever. Problem is that if the "default" SC is the Audigy, I get all functions of the transciever working but no media playback sound. If the RealTek onboard is "default" then the transciever is kicked. The issue seems to be that Windows never remembers the settings. I know I can have both working as fellow Ham Radio users have it working. Currently it's fair to say I can have one or the other but not both. Anyone got an answer to this one. It's starting to p**s me off.
