I have just done a fresh install of XP and installed most of the updates from MS.
The problems I am having are that there are two or three security updates that windows notifies me of, I then agree to download them and install them. It tells me its been done then 30 secs later the it notifies me of the updates again. Even after several restarts this continues.
I could switch off the notification for those updates (but as they are security updates I want to make sure they're installed) also virtually every program I have installed has come up with the Windows "STOP/Continue installation" message (where in the past it has not) and also I have to re-install the bluetooth keyboard every logon.
Hopefully its something simple that I've overlooked but I have no idea how to fix it. Can any of you guys help me out?
