XP on ADSL fine but Vista won't connect?

Hi Guys

Got a speedtouch router on the end of an ADSL line both on ethernet cables, xp gets the internet fine but Vista home won't? Auto fix/repair does nothing?

It's getting a correct IP and I can web into the router from the Vista machine and see the ADSL connected?

Any idea's?
 
I mean tyou might need to specify the DNS to use on the vista machine as it is not a problem with the router or the ADSL line as under XP it is working fine. You can see thr outer on Vista as you said you could browse to the router so my thinking is that you need to specif the DNS servers in the connection on Vista.

On the vista machine in the network connection area is it showing the connection as Local or Local and Internet ?

The DNS server to specif are the ones of your ISP which should be on there support pages somewhere
