How go i go about installing xp on an acer aspire one with linux and 8gb ssd hard drive...

Im so confused with this EWF...

I got that program but its telling me to get 3 seperate files from a embedded service pack trial.. I have no idea where to get that...

I thought i found something but i couldnt install it because my xp is sp3 and this was something to do with sp2....

Yeh I tried installing that but the xp I have on the acer is sp3, so it won't let me install it

Can i get the files from the iso itself without installing?

yeh i got the files out and I put them in the same folder as that application to install ewf whatever....

it says its done.. is that it?

Im trying to run ewfmgr c: but all that happens is a dos window flashes open and closes...

Yeh it's much faster.....

Do i need to type that command in every now and again? Once I type that command in once will it then start saving my changes or will I start reverting back to older states if I don't keep typing the command in?

I've just made a shortcut...

So basically before i shutdown I can just click the shortcut and everything should be fine and dandy?

It does run super quick mind... I suppose i did nlite the xp as well though

I havent disabled pagefile..

Now it just doesnt save anything whenever I shutdown

Could I not make a startup/shutdown script in group policy so i dont have to type this in cmd all the time...

should i disable pagefile then?

pagefile is using 150mb

got 340mb free memory

Am i best off doing a fresh install of xp then installing all the programs I need on it, setting it all up then doing the ewf thing and just keeping documents and that on a seperate sd card?

where sells memory?

im not sure what type of memory this takes or how to install it
