reg bsod, yeah, prob conflict with old drivers.

try this programm to remove redundant video drivers

do this in safe mode after removing the driver you recently installed.

Thanks I'll try this later ... though the thing is Ive not changed the G/card or the drivers from the original ones. Just had to reinstall them again.

OK matey ran than cleaner and reinstalled the nvidia drivers and it booted up nicely and even rebooted without a problem ... until next reboot I installed the drivers for the Netgear wg111t usb stick ... then BSD again then rebooted for safe mode and removed it but this time NO MOUSE ! So the only connection here (apart from G/card) is the USB connection ? Mouse / wireless stick ... is it possible to have the usb part of motherboard go haywire?

it looks like the repair didn't go as smoothly as expected.

well at least it got you in windows so you can backup all your data.

i recommend starting a fresh, it would probably take less time anyway than to manually try and solve the driver issues you have.
