I have a PC where the main HDD is failing but is just about usable.. So I'm replacing with new. Anyway, I started the XP Backup ASR process and after 9 hours of creating the image to an external HDD it then prompted me for a floppy disk for the ASR.. I completely forgot that native XP doesn't support CD/DVDs when creating the ASR..
So I had to reboot the PC in order to connect a floppy dive.. Now my questions is, can I use any ASR diskette to perform the recovery of the image created or is the AST specific to the image that was created? Else I'll have to start the back up again process again...
Thanks
