XP Pro networking wont work PC > Laptop

hi - having issues with xp pro networking

I have had to disable windows firewall on both machines.

I have run the wizard on both.

PC Can see laptop

Laptop cant see PC

PC can ping laptop

Latop can ping PC

If I try to access the laptop from the PC I get the error "Network path not found"

Any ideas what I can try?

Try typing the error into Google for there's several options which could be relevant to your set up.

do an ipconfig on both pc's.

How are you trying to access them? \\computername? try \\ipaddress
