XP pro user account going into standby

In the last few days my pc has been going into what i would describe as a user account standby state. It shows me the xp account select screen with the amount of running programs with the little user account picture.Admitedly all i have to do is click on the only account shown to go back but its just annoying and i dont know why it has started to do this, i only have this account on it and i dont understand why it goes into this state when left for 10-15mins. Any help would be appreciated. I run xp pro sp2 on the pc as in my sig.

You have a screensaver timer set.

Look on the screensaver options screen for a tick box to enable/disable the need to use a password on resume.

Mine started to do the same thing after installing Net Framework V2.

Thanks for the replies, a friend at work suggested the same thing. I will try it out when i get home
