I was just watching TV with my PC on beside me, and suddenly it started shutting down with the "Windows is logging off..." message. It started rebooting and I was naturally thinking the worst, that maybe the Ram had gone dodgy or the PSU was flaking out, etc but then I saw this balloon:
"Windows recently downloaded and installed an important security update to help protect your computer. This update required an automatic restart of your computer."
That was a big relief
, but I've never seen that happen before. I have the Windows Automatic Update set to download updates, but ask me before installing them.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?
