Jamjar, you have provided a link to the unofficial XP SP3 created by the hotfix and not Microsoft.

Bledd I totally agree with you about RyanVM and Nlite. However it is not a dumb website, just dumb links to it under false pretences.

That's been around for ages. It's mostly just a collection of hotfixes that MS usually only give out to customers that phone their (very expensive) support lines.

Some of them will make it into SP3, some won't.

But the advise of MS is not to install any unreleased hotfixes unless they tell you too. Quite a few haven't had enough testing to be given a general release yet.

I thought something was amiss when it said WMP10, may include WMP11... which has been out for some time already :)

Yep, SP3 isn't slated to be here for another 12-18 months yet.

No - Win XP SP3 still undecide by MS as it suppose to be this year but MS pushed back to 1H of 2008 also MS now havent deicde what do with SP3 if they want to release or scrap it- it still unknown until end of 2007.

WMP11 already released for download that was came up between August-Dec 2006 so XP SP3 just fix some more secuirty but MS still no decide if thet want to release or not so just have to wait until 1H 2008 also XP SP2 update patch will be stop between 2008-2010 ( date still not decide yet)
