XP SP3 now on MSDN

But seems i have problems installing it

After it extracts all files and does a system restore checkpoint it installs all files then at the end i get this

Then it promply uninstalls all the files and ends with this

After clicking ok it then reboots :confused:

Is legit xp pro with all latest updates
im sure its got nothing to do with the file you have hosted tchan 4 though

Guess ill wait till its on windows update :p

Sorry, can't help you right now as I’m on my Vista machine. If others have the same problem I’ll remove the link.
 
Just finished slipstreaming SP3 to my XP SP2 disk via the standard method. Then used NLite to remove all the languages/keyboard layouts shaving 148mb off :cool:.

definately not your files problem i aquired a different version from newsgroups and it does exactly the same :( which is good news for everyone else but obviously not me .........
 
Erm, how you do that?

1. Make a folder in C:\ called 'XPCD' and copy all your XP CD over
2. Copy the file called WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe to C:\
3. Run the following command in run and follow promts
Code:
C:\WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe /s:C:\XPCD
4. Once finished then just burn it to CD buy you will need to add the boot img to the CD boot otherwise it won't boot. Google it.
