XP startup

Hi all,

When logging onto my laptop (XP SP2) I get a long delay after entering the password until the desktop loads.

Using bootvis shows a massive (~30 second) delay caused by the driver "mrxsmb".

What is this? And how can I sort this logon time out?

Have you checked the start up files in MSCONFIG?

Sorry, should have mentioned that.

I have disabled everything in msconfig that I don't think the system needs. The things remaining are:

tp4mon
hkcmd
SynTPStart
AsTray
AsAcpiSvr
RTHDCPL
Skytel
ALCMTR
