XP to Windows 7. Will my DA:O backup save work?

Looking to upgrade from XP 32bit to Windows 7 64bit, if I make a backup of my save games from Dragons Age will they still work?

Yep they should work. Just make sure you know where to put them, as it may not be the same directory as Windows 7.

Slight thread hijack....

I have my Win 7 upgrade disk but haven't upgraded yet. I have all may games saved to one HD and Windows on another.

When I upgrade will all my games and saved games still be there or will I have to back up and re-install everything....?

It should be but at the very least backup your game saves. They take up very VERY little space in comparison to the game installs themselves, a 1Gb stick/card would be more than enough if you don't have a external drive.

They worked fine for me. I upgraded from Vista 32 bit to 7 64 bit, i just copied everything the entire Bioware/Dragon Age folder (from My Documents here) and copied it back across when i'd done. Everything worked fine as if nothing had happened. Don't just copy the saves only incase you need something else. Think its about 900mb total if you have all the DLCs but its better to be sure.
