Basically, i have a friend who has a really old PC, with the programs set up on as he likes them.
He inherited another XP machine, which specwise, is a lot better than his current.
The plan was to keep the old machine and use the new HDD as a slave, which didn't work as the newer HDD is SATA.
Is there anyway in XP or using a 3rd party Progarm, to, Copy the programs and settings as is, to the new PC which also has XP on? Or is it a case of having to reinstall all the programs over?
Been along time since ive even looked at XP, and can't quite remember whats possible and what isn't.
