XP with Phenom IIs

Hi All,
Probably going to sound like a daft question:
I've got XP on my current PC (Skt 939 4400 Dual Core).
Now that AMD have brought out the Phenom II 955 BE I am very very tempted to upgrade. However, I don't want to spend extra buying Vista when Windows 7 is around the corner, so the daft question is can I happily run XP on the new PC build (Phenom II 955 with DDR3 mobo/memory) ? (Until I upgrade to Windows 7.)

Is anyone else out there running XP with the new Phenom IIs ?

You could always download the Windows 7 Beta & run that until you get the full release of it.

But XP shouldn't be a problem with the Phenoms.

yea, there shouldnt be any problems that i can think of.

Thanks guys - I've got the beta on a separate drive but there's a couple of apps I use which are untested/incompatible.

I understand that the official Windows 7 RC is due out in May (sometime), so I'll see how timings are.
