This is for my dad. After the XP load screen(with the logo) he gets BSOD saying "KERNAL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR". It wont let him load into safe mode or safe mode with command promt, so we cant to ChkDsk. What is the problem and how can it be fixed. Important files are on the HDD so formatting is a last resort.
