Can anyone confirm that the Thermalright SP120 will actually fit on the DFI NF4 SLI-D motherboard (and specifically that model).

The Thermalright website doesn't mention the SLI-D model specifically but on some of the other models it says the first PCI-E slot is fouled (not a big problem) and it can also foul the memory sticks if they have heatspreaders.

Can anyone with the above combo please let me know how tight a fit it is and whether the memory problem is a genuine one?

Hi,i had an SI-120 fitted to my old DFI SLI-DR with no problems at all & you could still remove the ram from the slots(Crucial Ballistix). If i was you i would check over at
http://www.dfi-street.com/forum as they have a list of compatable heatsinks.

Yes it'll fit. Even the XP120 (low one) fits although it doesn't give much clearance.

Jay_t, your sig says you have the SLI-DR whereas I was asking about the SLI-D specifically, as yours has a different layout I think.

Murzo & Concorde, which exact boards do you have? If the SLI-D or Ultra-D does the XP120 foul any memory slots?

I think the xp120 does block access to some memory slots but the SP120 does not it was designed to raise the heatsink upwards so that no memory slots are blocked.

The SLI-D, SLI-DR and the Ultra-D all have identical layouts.
Ultra-D is not SLI combatible, and the DR just has a few extra bits over the SLI-D.

The SLI-DR Expert is different however, but that isnt what he has from the looks of things
