Xperia X1 activesync problem!!!!

Quick one,

Does anyone elses Xperia keep bringing activesync into the foreground, randomly?

It is doing my nut in (only had the phone a few hours), i'll be in the middle of something, and activesync will appear out of nowhere.

It is out of the box setup, except for attached to an exchange email account (set to sync contacts, calendar and email).

Any ideas?

My old TyTN (WM6) didn't do this! :mad:

Ahh I've read somewhere about an x1 issue with activesync. try either vodafone or xda forums and see if they've got any info as I'm sure it was one of those that had the info.

Any idea on where exactly (link?) I've scoured the interwebs, including those two forums (xda dev and vodafone), as well as exhausted my google-fu, to no gain

Sync Issues

Issue – Error 0x86000107 is displayed when attempting to sync the X1 to a PC via ActiveSync, and fails to update contact and calendar information.

Resolution – This is a known Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 issue, and a fix is being investigated.

but that doesn't quite seem what you're after.

Is this on the PC or on the device? If its on the PC, open up Active Sync, an on the "File" menu click connections. Untick the "Open when device connects" option. That should mean it will just sit in the system tray quietly.
