oki folks, im asking for abit of assistance.
System:
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe MB, Bios 1016, 6.75 nvidia MB drivers.
AMD 64 3500+ Chip, Manchester Core
2 x 1GB Corsair XMS XPERT PC3200 CL2 Ram
Powercolour ATI X1900XT GFX Card
Tagan 480w PSU
Is my system capable of handling 2 strips of XPERT ram?
This is the second set of ram i have got, the first showed errors in memtest, ive just checked this second set and its doing the same but even more.
It seems fairly unstable atm. I used to run 1GB PC3200XLPT and 6800GT's in SLI with no problems, i upgraded the GFX and the RAM to 2GB . I also upgraded the bios from 1013 to 1016 at the same time and now it seems unstable.
Any ideas? Can you suggest a better setup memory wise? Will my MB take two strips of 1gig with that processor core?
I get a blue screen of death after a period of time or a windows box saying ##### has encountered a problem and will have to shutdown etc.
