hello all
just wanted to ask before i tried to oc my new card
what sort of changes would i be looking at making on my card in terms of core , memory and shader

they are all currently at core600 memory900 shader1500

Use riva tuner and raise the core and memory clock (shader clock should increase with core if you select link mode). Nothing more to it.

I'd start with overclocking the core only to 650Mhz and test for stability. From there if stable increase it by 5Mhz and test it again then repeat the same. After you found the max for core and shader clock (which increases 25mhz for every 5Mhz core increase) use the same method for clocking the memory.

Keep an eye on the temperature with the monitoring tool in riva tuner. If temp gets too high use the low-level fan control to raise the fan speed.

If you can't see the temperature don't OC. I had the same card and the thermal sensor didn't work :/

I run my normal version one at 700core 1000memory. 45% fan all the time, the auto fan speed increase feature doesnt seem to work.

How can you check if the thermal temp sensor doesnt work correctly? The temps rise on mine when running 3dmark and games.

idles around 49/50c and max load is 70c (700core 1000mem) thats with fan running 45% all the time.

Can take it to around 740/1050 with fan at 100%. However its noisy, will probably shorten its life and get no better average crysis fps
