Hi all,
Quick question for you.
I bought my dad a new computer for Christmas and in turn took his old Dell off him to use as a local dev server.
I need to upgrade the ram as much as possible for my purposes so I did the normal thing of running a Crucial memory test.
According to that I have a dell XPS 700 which can only support 4gb (4x1gb), the issue is, everywhere else i look, including dells own website, says i can have 8gb (4x2gb)
Anyone know for sure which is true, or any 100% accurate way to tell (other than buying it and trying)?
Rick
