Hi,
so I want to upgrade my Dell XPS 720, maybe just add more memory and I was woundering if anyone can tell me if my computer is able to have 2 graphics cards...if so which one would you suggest? And also which memory would you suggest?

Spec:
Memory: 3070 MB
CPU Info: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @ 2.40GHz
Sound card: SB X-Fi
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB
Hard Drive: 500 GB

Cant seem to find out what motherboard I have :-/
Went on the crucial memory configuration and it says i have 2x1GB of DDR PC2-5300 in 2 banks and 2x512MB of DDR PC2-5300 in 2 banks.

Why does anyone want to upgrade really? To get a faster PC...play games better, really I just wanted some advice on getting some more memory, replacing the 512s ideally.

A pre-built system with 3gb RAM will almost definitely have a 32 bit OS. Bsically that means there's no point upgrading the RAM because you will only get a tiny bit more available RAM.

Which OS are you running? If it's a 32-bit version of XP or Vista then there's no point in installing more than 3GB especially with that much memory on the graphics card.

Buy some more RAM after you've installed Vista 64 (or Windows 7) then. No point upgrading now - it'll see 3.1-3.2GB if you're lucky.
