XSPC Edge - CPU WB

At last, I have all my bits and have started to built. However, before I embark on installing the water cooling, I just want to check the installation of the said waterblock.

Is it correct that there is no backplate for this and it screws directly on to the mobo?

There are no instructions.

Yeah just screws to the board, just remember to use the washers.

If you go to the XSPC website and get the installation instructions for the XSPC Delta V2 it fits the exact same way

I tightened mine until the springs were compressed completely.

I used a spare backplate and kept tightening untill finger tight (springs almost completely depressed)

Make sure the copper base is in the correct orientation to the inlet and outlet ports too. Mine arrived assembled with the thin copper fins 90 degrees to the flow of the water...

It should be the same as in this pic.
