HI mate,

I know you've had some experience with these and i was wondering what you'd recommend:

XSPC D5 Vario otion

Or XSPC Laing 18W DDC-Pump 12V DDC 3.25 option

looking for a good replacement for my XSPC 750 dual bay res/pump.

looking for low noise and high lph

Any thoughts?

THanks

I'm not 8pack but I've used a DDC pump before and found it a bit too loud for my liking. It has a noticeable buzz to it.

This was also the lower powered version so I'd expect the one you linked to make more noise.

i have had two different 18w DDC pumps and were a pain to keep quiet (using a aftermarket top). Currently I'm running a D5 vario + white ek D5 top CSQ and it's much quieter.

I have to say D5 out of the two mate. The excellent flow rates and low noise win the deal everytime. I have 5 D5's at home and have had them for years without any problems.

Only had 18w's myself in the past and were a pain to keep quiet.

I will be going D5 on my next loop, though looks like everyone above already answered this!

XSPC D5 Vario Pump & EK-D5 X-TOP CSQ Plexi Combo is exactly what I'm saving up for. EK-Supremacy Nickel Plexi block came this morning too :)
