XSPC PSU Bridging Connector (24 Pin)

Not sure if this is the right section, but is it really that simple, the 24pin woudn't be needed to go into the motherboard If i use this instead?

Yes, that simple. A paperclip works just as well.

Still dont understand why it needs to be connected to the MOB, to power the PSU, doesnt the 8 pin do that?

The 8 pin is for cpu power. The 24 pin is the main mobo power. What are you trying to do anyway, test a suspect psu?

Nope, I just came across it and was curious, I could just tuck the 24pin underneath the case with it and make it neater i guess? if that works
