Just wanted to voice my current experience with the XSPC Raystorm kit, incase someone is thinking of getting one, or incase people are having similar issues.
The full 240 kit arrived, got down to installing it. Installation is pretty straight forwaed, and the parts look well designed.
Filled her up, turned her on, and worked lovely. Left it running to bed the system in and get rid of any air.
Next day, come to turn the PC on, working away for about 15 mins, then I get a CPU temperature warning. Only to discover the pump had stopped working.
Checked all the connections, ect etc, and nothing.
So had to call up the vendor whom sent me another one out. Arrived today, installed it in the system, turn it on..........thought there was a tactor in the computer!! The pump sounded terrible. So had to strip it all down again, then set it up as a loop on the desk to enable me to ensure their were no air blocks or issues. But the pump was still noisy.
So now waiting for my 3rd pump and only hope its 3rd time lucky.
Both the faulty pumps were from the same batch - P: #2#1815 N: 1820
