XSPC Raystorm + RIVE

Hi

I have a rampage iv extreme x79 mobo and am thinking of getting the XSPC raystorm block for it. From reading around the raystorm was originally incompatible with the RIVE due to a fitting issue of some kind, I think with the backplate iirc.

From reading more recent articles I get the impression that XSPC have remedied this, is this true? Also if it has been fixed, which version of the block does OCUK sell - the old or new? I am interested in the chrome block btw.

It was probably a socket 2011 issue as socket 2011 doesn't use a backplate at all, the block stand offs screw directly into the socket mounts

OcUK sell the newest version that comes with all the bits required for socket 2011, the raystorm I purchased in feb/march time was ready packed with all the socket 2011 parts.
