Anyone have one? Any leaks/other problems? Google found me various threads objecting to shocking build quality, but also some saying the reservoir is excellent. So has anyone here had one fail on them?

I'm new to water cooling. After a few weeks trying to run without t line or res I've decided it isn't worth the hassle, so I'm going with the easiest option of getting a reservoir. I'd also like an aftermarket top for the pump, as it's the only thing which isn't g1/4 threaded and I don't really trust the barbs on the ddc. Hence looking at this one, cheaper than getting a top and a res seperately, plus less tubing and the res sat directly over the pump inlet.

I'd have preferred the EK version, but it's out of stock most places.
So. Any thoughts on the xspc one? Pretty paranoid about it leaking.

Cheers

I have the XSPC top and its fine, more than fine, its ace :

Cheers man. I bought one, and am quite happy with it. A bit wary of the seal on the input hole, so avoiding turning the case on its side for the time being.

Far easier to fill and bleed the system now :)

Cool (:P) - Ive had mine on its side and so long as the "lid" is screwed in tight, you should be fine ;)

Pics ?

rubbish hardware that doesnt make the cut is not allowed near my pc

i have one of these and its great

thinking of getting the 18w version for my gpu loop

So you did try for a while without a res/t line then. What sort of problems did you have? Was it tiny bubles that simply wouldn't bleed out in a reasonable time?
