Hi All, im going to build my first computer this weekend and i have got all my bits and pieces together. I was just wondering if the XSPC RS360 Radiator is going to be good enough to cool in a CPU loop.

The water cooling bits i have got are

alphacool vpp655 pump
ek d5 acetal top
ek supreme hf nickel plexi cpu block
ek bay spin resovoir
XSPC RS360 Radiator
loads of compression fittings and tube 1/2 inner 3/4outer
6x coolermaster sickleflow red 120mm fans (im going to use them for push/pull)

the water cooling is going to be cooling an i5 2500k on a z68 asrock fatal1ty mobo.

the rest of the specs of the computer are

xigmatek elysium case (absolutely massive) :)
8gb gskill ripjaws x 1600mhz
128gb corsair force ssd
akasa six channel fan controller
1x xfx 6970 gpu
850w ocz psu

i plan to mount the rad in the top of the case. v excited but i hope that the rad will be ok?

cheers

minty

Welcome to the forums :)

Yes, the RS will be fine. But you may aswell get a thick rad for the elysium with some scythe gentle typhoons :)

cool, i think i will probably sometime down the line want to cool the gpu and i will probably install a 2nd loop (plenty of space for it) and use the XSPC RS360 Radiator for the gpu and a thick rad for the cpu cooling. Need to get saving :S

i had an EK coolstream 360 and Ek coolstream 240 in the single loop.then i went EK 360 to cool the gpu and another EK 360 to cool the cpu and got slightly worse temps???????i've now got a single loop of ex360 and RX240 cooling my 2700k at 5ghz with 1.36v and 3 gtx470's sli.not happy with it so i'm changing the Rx240 for an EX480

That's certainly very confusing!

Dual loops can look a lot better though!

i know, thats why i did it really ,to have two different colours.i rebuilt my loop the other day and went from uv blue to some mayhems uv red.the red stained my tygon tubing straight away and didn't really glow.messy stuff so i went back to my thermochill ec6 uv blue
