Xubuntu 14.04 PulseAudio equliazer issue...

I've installed the PulseAudio equliazer today, but when I set it the way I want it there's no sound.

I have onboard realtek and asus d1 sound card...

Try smplayer.That gives you more options for inputs/outputs etc

I think there is a problem with pulseaudio in 14.04, playing videos with vlc the audio keeps popping in and out, never had this problem in previous versions.

The volume even when set to 100% seems very quiet compared to windows 7 with custom drivers...
