XXL or XXXL Hybrid Bike Recommendations

Hi All,

I am in the market for a hybrid for commuting and fitness (mostly road but a bit of gravel cycle track too).

I am 6'7" and have 38" inside leg.

I have a 23 inch Giant XTC mountain bike which I have had for many years and it is not quick enough for commuting on even with semi-slick tyres.

Budget would probably be under £750.

I like the look of the Trek FX2 disc at Evans which comes in an XXL but it has a double crank set and I fancy a single (not 100% sure why...).

Anyway have any other tall people bought something that they would recommend recently?

Looks like a Trek FX 3 2022 model will tick all of my boxes, just have to wait until May.

XL XXL etc means different things to different manufacturers. Cannondale and Specialised are 61cm then Boardman XL was 57.5cm. Just ensure you ride whatever.

I’d probably budget to change the wheels in a year or so, I know I’ve trashed two sets on two bikes being heavier and £750 won’t see you with decent wheels.
