How does that look? Any substitutes or suggestions? Cheers :D

You need a graphics card ;)
that motherboard doesnt have onboard graphics, therefore you need a dedicated card.
Another point on the motherboard - is it the B3 revision board? The original boards have problems with SATA prots (2and 5 i think) which cause them to degrade.
just a few ponts there.

if you get another 125 posts you can get free shipping too ;)

OOPS! forgot to mention I have GPU and PSU already :) gtx 460 and GX550w. No it isn't (the board), but I think I'll wait it out until the new B3s come into stock.

Everything's pretty much fine with that build :)

Might add another £4 and get the 7200RPM F3 rather than the 5400 one, but won't make tooo much difference

Seagate Barracuda is cheaper and is marginally faster than the F3 :)

Build looks good, but I would get OEM version of chip and spend the difference on an after market cooler like the Gelid Tranquillo so you can overclock the i5, after all that is the main point of SB :p

Basically this:

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - OEM
(£141.66) £169.99

Asus P8P67 PRO Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge) ** B3 REVISION **
(£124.99) £149.99

Coolermaster HAF 912 Plus Case - Black
(£44.15) £52.98

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM 1yr Warranty (ST31000528AS)
(£31.66) £37.99

Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)
(£29.99) £35.99

Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/AM2+/AM3/LGA775/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA1366)
(£22.11) £26.53

Samsung SH-S223C/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM
(£9.99) £11.99

Sub Total : £404.55
Shipping cost assumes delivery to UK Mainland with:
DPD Next Day Parcel
(This can be changed during checkout) Shipping : £11.75
VAT is being charged at 20.00% VAT : £83.26
Total : £499.56

Yes its more costly (due to B3 revision mobo ) but will be faster, has the option to go SLI/CF and has ability to overclock to at least 4.6GHz quietly and more importantly with low temps :)

Money could be saved by waiting for the other B3 revisions to come out :p

Should I wait for the P8|P67 regular B3 to come out? Save some cash there,
and also, what about the RAM? Isn't the voltage a little too high? I know OCUK use it in their bundles but to be on the safe side?

I'd definitely wait to get the B3 revision if you decide to go with the P8P67, seeing as OCUK seem to have stocks of the other Asus boards as B3, I can see the P8P67 coming in fairly soon as b3 revision

Don't you have to set the voltage to 1.5 v for the memory in the bios because i heard the Intel Core i5-2500K only likes 1.5 volts and damage will occur to the CPU?

Sorry I'm new to this myself, the system looks cool though.

My wife has the xms3 memory and her systems runs really fast.

Ooof, dunno actually. Think it would be worth checking (as in enter BIOS and check its 1.5v) when you get it!
