Y Splitter

Will a 2 or 3 headed Y splitter allow me to control the RPM of the attached fans at whatever speed I set and can I daisy chain them?

Normally using a custom fan profile.

Akasa one is a useless piece of wiring. The connections on the header are not the right ones for PWM fans and PWM doesnt work. Not sure it's PEBKAC/PICNIC as others on this forum have mentioned the same.

Looking for a 4 pin Y splitter which it looks like OcUK don't sell. Fulax has linked me to a ''Akasa AK-CB002 PWM Fan Splitter Cable which he says is working for him, so this may be my solution.

2 PWM 120mm, one 3 pin 140mm (2 for the CPU cooler, 1 for case). Seemed to run fine as far as I could tell. The wire was a complete mess however, made cable management a bit of a pain...

The CPU cooler is a H100i running 2 120mm fans off the pump.

Thanks for the suggestions Danny, but that will not work. There is a subtle difference between 3 and 4 pin connectors. The 4 pin is wider and has the protruding pin futher out than the 3 pin.

That ASAKA connector has the 3 pin position but not 4

I've got one, but will be looking to get a Y splitter still as I have to power 3 80mm PWM fans.
