Is it worth changing the Lenovo Y510P 12GB ram (1600) for 8GB Corsair ram (1866), would there be any difference in gaming?

If you are still undecided I would say it would be a marginal benefit in games. But, possibly not worth it

You'd probably realise a 5% to 10% boost in games, if that. Not worth it IMO.

It wouldnt give a 5-10% boost. That upgrade wouldnt even touch the fps.
