People who are relatively new to the net, or people who go blind when the price is right.

And that pug is gorgeous, although I have medicated this morning so it could be on fire and I'd still like it.

If it is too good to be true.....

There are always scams like this on Autotrader with cars ridiculously under priced. You just have to filter them out yourselves.

I was looking the other day and about one in five were these type of adverts.

Why autotrader doesn't check adverts before they go live is a bigger question.

Who falls for them them though? I mean that pug in OP for example. You would get what 10-12k (at a guess, maybe more) trade in/on we buy any car so why would anyone sell it for 6k privately.

It would still be in manufacturers warranty so its not like you would sell it at half it's trade price because there was anything horribly wrong with it either.

I just cant think how anyone would be stupid enough to go " yeh that looks genuine, lets go for it"
