Yahoo email changes

Does anyone use Yahoo, and are you the same as me getting really annoyed with all the crap they have recently introduced.

Theyre trying to be like facebook and now have a "how are you feeling" box at the top by my name, they have also now introduced a "get updates from" thing on the right hand side which means that basically anyone who has ever sent me an email is listed there and I can ask them for updates on what they are doing.

I just want to check my bloody email and not have all this additional crap, any ideas how I can get rid of it

I HATE the new layout... it has drastically reduce the number of mails you can see in the main window... each mail line is huge.

Sadly due to volunteer work I do it would make it very difficult to change my email address, there are lots of people who use that address.
(I could get it redirected I know)

I prefer yahoo by a long way, don't like gmail personally.

Do it, the gmail interface is far slicker.

To be honest I haven't noticed the changes but then again I only go into the mail side of things to read new mail and I tend to have jumped straight into the email from the homepage...

Sadly when I do that and click through to my mail it still has the "how are you feeling" and the "updates from others" thing

I much prefer gmail. Means that all my email addresses now support imap.
