Yahoo open-source UI libraries

Yahoo have released some useful Javascript utilities that offer animation, advanced DOM functions, AJAX, drag-and-drop and lots more. They've also launched a series of "design patterns", ways in which you can improve the interfaces of your web apps from the people who make the various Yahoo applications.

I've been playing with these for the last few days and they're really neat

Very nice, thanks for the heads up. Should come in handy for a project we're doing at work at the moment that involves similar functionality. The patterns look really useful.
