Yakuza 4

Yakuza 3 was a bit 'meh' for me. It was the first one of the series I've played. I hope Y4 will be better as it has nothing cut out and hopefully uses a bit more of the PS3's power for better visuals. Only a rental atm.
 
Will be pre-ordering the Steelbook edition.

Good thing this game is a reasonable price as I remember pre-ordering Yakuza 3 for £50 back then and within a few weeks of release, it's price dropped substantially. Could have saved £20 in hindsight.

Can't wait to see how well the other 3 main characters will play out, and from what I've read and and seen in trailers so far, Sega have decided not to cut out any content, which should be good news. So hostess bars are back!
 
My attention span was too short for Yakuza 3. I got fed up with all the pointless mini games of helping kids out, and the combat was very repetitive. I really need to complete it at some point.
 
A fighting demo is available for PSN+ users. I've never played a Yakuza game and the fighting demo hasn't made me want to either - looks a bit naff to me.
 
Good god. The demo is just dire. No instructions, just throws you straight in. I can't even seem to get any kind of combo manoeuvres. Deleted.
