My Onkyo 606 has to go in for repair with an HDMI problem and so I am using this as an excuse to buy as new receiver and cant decide between the Denon 1910 or the Yammy 1065?

Which is better, anyone any idea's?

Well there's quite a big price difference so it's not really a fair comparison for the Denon. Still, for 300 quid the Denon is meant to be really good.

Id go with the Denon, I have set one of these up for a friend this weekend with a set of Kef 3005s and it does sound very impressive.

That's good to know. I have the Kef 3005se in 7.1 with the onkyo, so it's good to see they marry up ok with the Denon, it's the way I was leaning anyway. Just the Yammy was being put forward as better than the denon 2310 in a review I read.

The denon is £420-£450 and the Yammy is £500, so not so much a price diff.

Denon 1910 for £300, where? If it was I would buy it.

Yeah, I got the prices completely wrong! LOL!

TBH, with those little kef speakers I doubt you'd notice much difference so get the cheaper Denon.
