Yamaha RX-V671 Remote not working?

Stopped working with AV Receiver?

No idea why, lights are on and batterys are new?

Please Help!!

Does it have a mode where it can control other devices? Press an amp button or something like that.

Tried.

Also Tried the codes 5019, 5020, 5098 which are the only ones listed!

What are the chances that my remote is naff?

Got a camera you can test it with? You should be able to see the infra red light on screen.

yeah I can see the infrared light through camera and the remote still controls the T.V.

But zero response from the AV receiver!

Everything was working fine when I watched the last film only had 3 hours of use out of it.

Iphone can control it but its not the same as remote control and cant use half the options with iphone.

Yeah I've tried all switches codes buttons that I can think of.

Will try my mates remote tomorrow but his is an old yamaha thing.
