Yamaha v673 dolby pl modes

Just a quick question which may seem simple but something I cant find an answer for. My Yamaha amp has 3 Dolby Pro Logic settings. It labels them as "dolby pro logic, dolby pl2 movie, dolby pl2 music". Is dolby pro logic the original pro logic as it isnt labelled as pl2?? Am I bettee to have it on PL2 movie or dolby pro logic for everyday TV use?

The PL2 versions are a better algorithm. The fact they've been able to tune the sound to suit movies or music and give you a choice is a bonus. Use PL2 Movie for film & TV. Use PL2 Music for anything on video that's music related. Simples
