Yate Loon fans?

Any reason why they are no longer on the site?

I really liked them

I have a few D12SL-12 but I wouldn't recommened to anyone. I don't know whether it's because I had them stuck in a drawer for a year or what but they make an awful bearing sound when they start turning. If I arrange 5 fans and a YL side by side and run them all at the same speed it's the Yate Loon I can hear grinding away.

You guys must have a different experience.

I got them from here too, back when they were about £2 each.

Out of 6 i had at a time, (4 from one shop, 2 from another). The 4 all worked fine, yet the other 2 which cost slightly more had a strange buzzing noise. Didnt matter what speed i had them at on a fan controller. Really cheap but decent fans id reccomend are the Arctic cooling F12 range, available in standard 3 pin and 4 pin PWM.
