Yate Loon LED's

Hi,

Just wondering how long your Yate Loon LED fans last for? I've had mine since summer (2) and one went faulty and the other one looks quite dull.

Bought 9 last year - all nine are as perfect now as they were then.

Oh right, perhaps its just that the new one I have is a different colour then, it just seems stronger in colour.

LEDs have roughly 50,000 hours of life, and they dont fade. Its more likely to be a different brand/brightness.

Sorry to be pedantic... but after around 50,000 (or 100,000) hours or so, they fade.. they don't blow (like filament bulbs).... which is good....

It sound to me like the OP's LED's were overdriven... this will made an LED's lifetime shorter...

Fair enough, but ive never had and LED's on for . . 6 years . . . .

Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to divide by 24 hours . . .

50,000 = 297 days - so the old one in my system now shouldn't be fading yet. Thanks for the info though guys!
