many thanks in advance

get the cosmos S edition, i just personally prefer it xd asides from that it all looks good, im very jealous! oh and i asume you have plenty of decent hard drive space already? cos that raptor wont last 10 mins once you fill it with games etc

is a 600W PSU enough? not much room for extra stuff if he has a 295 in there... :S

Check if some one knows if that CPU fan will fit on your i7. It does only say LGA775 and I have no idea if they're compatable or not.

edit, ignore i missed the bolt through kit,

yeah got 2tb of normal drives, just wanted that one for booting, ill raid it up later

thanks for the advice on the PSU I've ordered that one

looking at the s edition now :)

have to admit i have no idea what the difference is :(

been a while since i built a rig

Basically a modular PSU has connectors on one end where you attach the cables that connect to your components. You only attach the cables you require, this means there is less clutter, it looks much neater and it improves the airflow.

ah i thought that might be the case (pardont he pun!), but didnt want to assume in case it was a nice sizing/fitment standard

cant wait!! :D

it also means you paying quite a hefty price premium, and as I said if you've got a decent case its not really an issue as you can tuck away the cables not in use, not that there there tend to be that many of them not in use on high end systems nowadays anyway, which means youre paying more for a useless feature

sweet all ordered being delivered tomorrow

went with the cosmos s edition and the zalman 600w PSU

pics to follow once I've blown it all up!

so it turned up today, and i built it, it rocks!

few teething problems (its been a while) but its all lovely now!

any idea why I can only see 3gb of memory? I'm using ultimate

Daft question, did you install the 32bit or 64bit version of Windows, as Ultimate comes with both I think!

Download cpu-z and check all memory banks are being seen as correct values.
